‘OLD HARE AND OWL’
Artist: Suzanne Le Good.
This lovely print is limited to 200, and it has been taken from Suzanne’s watercolour, coloured pencil pen and ink on textured straw board.
It portrays a scene of an Old Hare stuffed toy, who has been left in the corner of the nursery, with only his little Owl friend for company. texture is an integral part of the picture. The use of heavy coloured pencil shading on the highly textured straw board has added to the melancholy feel of this print.
It is printed on quality 200 gsm card, which makes for easy mounting and framing. The actual image measures approx. 9 1/4 x 7 inches, and it is numbered, signed and named below. There is a margin around the print to allow for mounting. (The copyright wording is on the photo only and serves as a reminder that an artist’s work is protected and can only be ‘used’ by the artist.) The shaded border is for display only and does not appear on the print.
Your print will be sent flat, in a board-backed envelope. When framing, remember that a wide mount in a large frame will always make a print even more impressive, and I would recommend a frame measuring approx. 15 x 12 inches.
